Homosexuals Are Parents, Too |
Introduction
For this assignment, the class is to write a paper on one of nine subjects involving sexuality, women and jobs, or another topic that could be cleared by Jen. We worked on our papers individually, and also collaborated together for more concise theses, as well as more informative and persuading papers. Personally, I worked dilligently on my own and with Jen and two writing tutors. The Writing Center was a valuable asset to me and I am very glad that I ventured in there to work on my paper.

Reflection
Throughout the writing process, I encountered several snags, including coming up with a good thesis and pursuading proof. My hardest obstacle to overcome was my problem with organization. Both the writing tutor and Jen told me that I had a big problem with organization, and that I should focus on improving that part of my paper. I also had a problem with organization on my mid-term essay and another essay for another class. I revised this paper several times; after each visit with someone I went home and fixed the problems that we found. At first I had decided to do homosexual marriages, but then, after help from Jen and the writing tutor, I changed to just homosexuals raising children. Such a change was a direct problem fixed after a conference. Like I stated before, I was very happy to have so many people willing to help me with this assignment, I could not have begun to revise it myself.
